Ilê Ayê!

OK, OK, props to Brasil for their Round of 16 victory (3-nil) over the Black Stars. There's a reason Ronaldo e seus irmãos are Number One in the world.

I'm sure there was a somber mood in the streets of Accra -- from Nkrumah Circle to Cantonments Road to Teshi-Nungua -- earlier today. But the fact that Ghana got so far in this Cup was definitely reason enough for plenty of rejoicing and good times.

Wish I could have been there to see last week's party. Nothing like a cold Star beer to get things jumping.
