As I mentioned to some "friends" the other night, the hoops I've had to jump through the past few months honestly seem like a trifle. The business of living life and trying to make it all work is a much more challenging proposition than any of the temporary stuff I've had to deal with.

Still, it's nice to be.... er, unencumbered.

Plans?

Having a celebratory drink and some tapas at Caf Buenos Aires with Jodi & Bob. Then Viva la Fiesta Pequea! at the Mission, and some after-dinner churros.

Simple.

"My idea of success," he said, "is personal freedom."

 "Freedom? Freedom from worries?"

"From everythingfrom money, from poverty, from ease and anxiety, from all the material accidents. To keep a kind of republic of the spiritthat's what I call success."

~ Edith Wharton, The House of Mirth, 1905
